NFF launch Coach Educators’ Course In Abuja,

 

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) recently launched the Coach Educators’ Course in Abuja, making Nigeria the sixth country in Africa to implement this initiative. The program aims to develop elite coaches who can engage in educational initiatives and effectively transfer technical and tactical knowledge.

Distinction from Conventional Coaching Courses*: Coaching education goes beyond techniques and tactics, focusing on applying diverse methodologies and essential skills.

– Evaluation and Progression*: Participants will undergo evaluations, with top performers qualifying for advanced coaching courses and others progressing to ‘C’ and ‘D’ level courses.
– *Active Participation*: Attendees will be assessed on their teaching abilities, emphasizing the importance of attentiveness and continual improvement.

– Measurable Outcomes*: The course aims to achieve measurable changes in attitudes and behaviors, validating participants’ successful completion and ability to disseminate new knowledge.

The NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, expressed enthusiasm for the program, highlighting its impact on developing coaches who can effectively engage in educational initiatives. With this course, Nigeria is poised to enhance its coaching landscape, benefiting sports development in the country ¹.
