……..Want Football Stakeholders To Support Governor Caleb Mutfwang Drive To Develop Football On The Plateau
President of Nigeria Football Federation Mallam Ibrahim Gusau, has expressed satisfaction with the state of work done by the contractor handling the stadium project at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.
Speaking after inspecting the on going renovation work at the stadium in company of the state Governor Caleb Mutfwang
According to him, When his excellency became the governor. “We had a lot of interactions with the Governor on how we are going to develop soccer in the state, it’s a known fact that Plateau use to be a home of football you cannot write the history of football without talking about the Plateau state. You are aware that Plateau is lacking behind now we sat down and discussed together, and he listened to us that why we are here today to see the level of work done by the contractor.

Shocked by the level of commitment by the state government, “and I must say I am highly impressed with what I have seen because I don’t expect the job to be as big as these not knowing that they have taken it to higher level. I must commend the Governor for that as we have discussed with the contractor hopefully by November the job must be completed I will be back here in October to see the progress of the job done so that we can bring back life into soccer on the Plateau” he said

NFF President, however promised to fulfill his own promises to Governor Caleb Mutfwang,
“As the governor said, if we have a good facility here there is no way we not going to bring the Super Eagles to play on the Plateau that is a promise as long as the Governor fulfill his own promises, we have an obligation to fulfill our own promises by the grace of God we will continue to encourage him because the next stage is to complete the Zaria Road Stadium where even the Super Eagles can come and play there which he promised me he will do. I want the people of Plateau especially football loving people to keep supporting and encourage him so that we can achieve what we need to achieve for football in Plateau State. NFF President said.
