Ovie Ejaria Joins La-Liga Side Real Oviedo On 2 Years Deal

English born Nigeria and Former Liverpool player Ovie Ejaria has signed up with newly promoted Spanish side Real Oviedo on a two year contract on Wednesday in Spain.

The Former England youth international at the U-20 and U-21, He was part of the Young Lions’  that won the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup in South Korea, and he later proceeded to the U21 team in 2018. He has featured for several clubs including Sunderland, Rangers and Reading were he made over 124 appearance scoring double digits goals for the team.
Ovie born in England to Nigeria parents started his youth football with Arsenal for 9 years  before moving to Liverpool at 16  in 2014 before signing a professional contract with Liverpool in 2016.
Speaking shortly after his unveiling, his  grateful to God for the opportunity and looking forward to training hard and reviving his career and make the best of playing his football in the La-Liga the player said.
The 27 years old player is eligible to play for Nigeria Super Eagles if given the opportunity to wear the green white shirt of Nigeria. He switched National to play for Nigeria in 2020.
Real Oviedo returns after Twenty-four long years after their relegation in 2001, then tumbling lower into ‘the mud’, the club whose fans would not let them die witnessed their return to Spain’s top table in a spectacular fashion, Ovie will play alongside former Arsenal player Santi Carzola his childhood club. The team will start his La-Liga campaign away to Villarreal on Friday.
