Queens Cup Day Two Review: Dannaz Ladies, Remo Stars Ladies Maintain Perfect Record

The Queens Cup Southwest Preseason Tourney Match Day Two witnessed thrilling where 15 goals were scored with dramatic wins as the competition draws towards the last group games.

Robo Queens, Pacesetter Queens got their first win of the campaign after witnessing defeats in their first match, while Dannaz Ladies and Remo Stars maintain a perfect record in the competition.

Dannaz Ladies 3-0 DreamStar Ladies

Dannaz Ladies trio of Tohibat Abdulazeez, Fatimoh Solaty and Zainab Raji combined to inflict a heavy defeat on DreamStar Ladies.

Tohibat opened the goal account of the encounter with an emphatic strike in the 26th minute. One minute later, Solaty doubled the Cedars lead with a fascinating finish while Raji kept the scoreline out of the reach of DreamStar Ladies with 36th minute goal while no goal was recorded in the second half despite chances created by both sides.

Robo Queens 6-0 Wazbak Queens

Robo Queens bounced back from their first game loss to Remo Stars Ladies and crushed Wazbak Queens 6-0.

Mariam Yahaya was a constant tormented Wazbak Queens defense in the game as she scored quintet of goals while skipper, Kemi Adegbuyi also grabbed a goal in the game.

Phoenix Queens 0-3 Remo Stars Ladies

Remo Stars Ladies stamped their feet in their 3-0 win against Phoenix Queens to nourish their hundred percent record in the Queens Cup.

An early strike in the 4th by Kehinde Deborah supplied the Sky Blue Ladies the lead. Tricky winger, Simi Okesiji increased their goal tally in the 22nd minute while midfielder, Cynthia Mega 59th minute goal sealed a deserved win for Remo Stars Ladies.

Nakamura FA 1-2 Pacesetter Queens

Nakamura FA drew the first blood of the game in the 15th minute following a fantastic buildup play setup Ibitayo Adeniyi to give the Black Arrows the lead.

A bumpy game which provided both sides chances to utilize. Pempe Fidelis brought the 3SC Ladies back on level terms in the 34th minute while Faith Jaiyeola 70th minute goal gave Pacesetter Queens their first win of the tournament.
