Former Nigeria International goalkeeper Femi Thomas, has revealed to Gongnews.net that he will help solve the goalkeeping challenges facing the nation.
According to one of the most traveled goalkeeper in the Nigeria League, with my little Sting in the league I can say that the future of the next Super Eagles goalkeeper are in the league.

” We have some young and exciting goalkeepers in the league and I know with time we will bring some young and amazing goalkeepers to the Super Eagles very soon and all they need is just a little push for them to show what they can offer but for me the league is rich with young and future goalkeepers who will soon take over from the current goalkeepers in the Super Eagles” he said.
The former Nasarawa United goalkeeper, in a chat said he is happy working with young goalkeepers and working to bring out the best out of them.

“I enjoy working with the young ones and bringing the best out of them, and it has giving me a new meaning to goalkeeping and I see Nigeria has the best goalkeeping talent to be the best as a goalkeepers and I know with other goalkeeper trainers in the league we will give Nigeria Football a world class goalkeeper from the league version soon, Femi Thomas said.
Speaking further, the former Zamfara United safe hand, also stated that he is happy working with Ikorodu City, while appreciating the Chairman of the team Mr. Sanmi Doherty for giving him his first Premier League experience as a goalkeeper trainer for Ikorodu City.
“I am happy with ikorodu City FC and I also thank the team chairman for giving me my first League experience in the NPFL and I am enjoying my time with the help of the officials and the cooperation of the goalkeepers in Ikorodu City and my fellow technical crew members. He continued.

While praising his young goalkeeper Michael Atata who has kept 11 games this season with 7 clean sheets and conceded 7 goals which is not bad for a rookie like him but I believe there’s more work to do to turn him to one of the best goalkeeper in the country Femi Thomas concluded.
