Nigeria Volleyball Federation Set For Final Phase Of 2025 Premier League In Abuja

 

All is now set for the final phase of the 2025 Nigeria National Volleyball Premier League for Men and Women slated to hold from 1st to 14th December, 2025, at the Indoor Sports Hall, MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

Organised under the distinguished partnership and support of the Controller-General of Customs, this year’s final phase promises to be the most competitive and exciting edition yet. Top volleyball clubs from across the country will converge in the Federal Capital Territory to battle for supremacy, national ranking, and the coveted Premier League crown.

President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engr. Musa Nimrod, expressed confidence that this year’s final phase will showcase the rapid growth and rising standard of volleyball in Nigeria as the league has continued to produce exceptional talents from strengthened club structures, and deepened fan engagement across the nation.

Speaking ahead of the premier league finals,Chairman of the League Management Committee, Arch. Tanimu Adamu, affirmed that all logistics, technical arrangements, and facilities were in top shape to deliver a smooth and world-class event. He noted that the final phase is not just a championship, but a celebration of discipline, teamwork, and the enduring spirit of Nigerian athletes.

“The NVBF is committed to raising the profile of volleyball in Nigeria, and this year’s Premier League final phase demonstrates that commitment. We appreciate the unwavering support of the Controller-General of Customs and all our partners for their continued investment in athlete development and national sports growth,” he stated.

The Media Committee of the NVBF calls on volleyball lovers, sports stakeholders, students, families, and the general public to troop to the MKO Abiola National Stadium to enjoy two weeks of top-tier volleyball action, electrifying matches, and a vibrant sporting atmosphere.

As the countdown begins, the NVBF assures all teams, officials, and fans of a safe, well-coordinated, and memorable championship.
