Abeokuta 10 KM Road Race Is Getting Better…. Okowa

Athletic Federation of Nigeria president Tonobok Okowa, has expressed his delight at the just concluded 2nd edition of  Lotus Bank  Abeokuta 10 Kilometres Road Race.

Speaking with journalists after the race the president said, the Abeokuta Road Race keep on improving every year and he was happy with the way the the race was organized on Saturday he said.

According to him ‘the race keep improving every year and normally it ends at the stadium, but this time around  look at where it ending up at the Alake’s palace on the road’.

Speaking further, ‘the ambiance is very good for Road race I am happy with what I have seen then to crown it up I saw my athletes winning the race so that means they are coming up running the long distance races he concluded.

The duo of Nigeria’s Francis James and Blessing Shambaz  emerged winners of the 2nd Lotus Bank Abeokuta 10km.
