The top eight teams of this year’s Bet9ja Ekiti Football League have emerged after a truly captivating first round of the tournament.
They are Rajjy FC, Ikere Ekiti, FUOYE Dazzlers FC, Oye Ekiti, Ipoti Comets FC, Ipoti Ekiti, Otunba Kolawole FC, Ijan Ekiti, Football Connect FC, Iworoko Ekiti, Shalom FC, Ado Ekiti, EKSU Galacticos FC, Iworoko Ekiti and Are FC, Ijero Ekiti.
The teams garnered the most points to emerge as table toppers and second placed teams after 4 matches each in the group phase.
The BEFL will now proceed on a one-week break after the Match Week 5 which ended last weekend.
The move will afford the players and officials the chance to take a well- deserved rest after a hectic first half campaign.
The second stage of the league will commence on April 20th with another round robin after the eight teams will have been regrouped.
