President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to return the old N200 notes into circulation.
The President who gave the order in a broadcast on Thursday morning, said the old N200 note will be spent alongside the new notes of N200, N500 and N1000.
He said the old N200 note will be spent till April 10, 2023.
He equally assured Nigerians that the old 500 & 1000 notes are still redeemable at the CBN, while also urging Nigerians to vote for the candidates of their choice in the February 25 and March 11 elections
