Death Toll Rises To Six In Lagos Train Crash

Six people have been confirmed dead in the Lagos BRT Bus collision with a passenger train in Lagos on Thursday morning with over 80 injured.

According to National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, on Thursday afternoon came with the update on the Lagos bus/train collision.

Report reaching us said that two adult females staff of the State Government died on the spot and several others injured and evacuated.

While giving the update, NEMA said four additional fatalities have died on arrival at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital out of the 84 injured and evacuated to the hospital.

After a report to the Lagos Territorial Office Emergency Response team mobilised to the scene of a bus/train collision.

Recall that the State Government staff bus was trying to cross the PWD/Sogunle rail crossing while the train coming into Lagos from Abeokuta trapped the bus on its rail.
