EPL clubs After Super Eagles Debutant Tochukwu

Nigerian midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi marked his senior debut for the Super Eagles in Tuesday’s friendly against Egypt, coming on as a second‑half substitute. The 22‑year‑old’s performance has sparked a scramble among English clubs, with West Ham now joined by Brighton, Leeds, Newcastle and Crystal Palace in the chase for the highly‑rated player.

Nnadi, who previously shone with Nigeria’s under‑20 side and is under contract with Belgian Pro League club Zulte Waregem until 2028, could command a fee of around €4 million. While that figure is within reach for the Premier League outfits, it would provide a welcome cash boost for Zulte Waregem even as they risk losing a key midfielder.
