Two Nigerian National League Football Clubs in Akwa Ibom State, FC ONE Rocket and the Vandrezer FC have recieved the latest Artificial Intelligence Enabled Scouting Cameras.
Nine Football Clubs in Nigeria as gathered by this reporter have benefited from this gesture including, the two Akwa Ibom privately owned teams in the NNL.
The presentation took place on Thursday in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
Presentating the Tripod Camaras and other equipment, these clubs, the Manager of Eyeball Software to Africa Region and France, Mr Jordan Cipriano said the Camaras were donated to deserving Football Clubs in Nigeria including, FC ONE Rocket and the Vandrezer FC to help expose performances of each player in their respective clubc for direct contact with foreign clubs.
Cipriano maintained that the era of players traveling outside the country for trials will be over with the Introduction of the Artificial intelligence Enabled Scouting Camaras.
He said, Eyeball Software is a digital platform for youth football competitions aimed at promoting latest video database of player’s profiles and performances to world’s elite leagues
The Facilitator of the partnership, Mr Idowu Ismail Oluwabiyi who narrated the benefits of using VEO Camaras said Nigerian teams were carefully selected.
He said, the new technology will capture player’s statistics and individual performance in their various clubs.
Responding, the President of FC ONE Rocket and Calabana FC Academy, Rt Hon Otuekong Nse Essien expressed appreciation to the Eyeball Software, France for considering his football club worthy as one of the beneficiaries of the digital platform for scouting of players.
According to him, the equipment will motivate his players to improve on their individual performance, believing also that the standard of his club will also rise.
He noted with joy that within four years of existence, FC ONE Rocket and the Academy have produced quality players for premier and national leagues in the country and well as other international clubs.
Essien who is the Honorary Special Adviser to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on Sports continues, ” we are excited that Eyeball has identified FC ONE Rocket and Calabana Academy for what we are, with this development, the sky will be our limit”
” We are promoting and discovering our players to the world, FC ONE Rocket will continue in this direction”.
Also speaking, the Head Coach of Vandrezer FC, Coach Madaki Osigbemeh Alfred who recieved the camera on behalf of the management of Vandrezer FC thanked the donor for the latest Tripod camara donated to them.
He assured that the club will take advantage of the new camara to showcase his players to the international community and promised to make good use of the equipment in all their matches.
