Galatasaray is reportedly keen on signing Ademola Lookman, with the club’s General Secretary Eray Yazgan hinting at the possibility of adding the Nigerian forward to their squad. When asked about the transfer rumors, Yazgan said, “We have a great squad right now, it is quite enough. As I said, we are building on it. We will definitely continue to build on it as our coach desires and needs.”
Lookman has been linked to Galatasaray since the summer transfer window, and the club is believed to be preparing for a potential move in January. The 28-year-old has had a turbulent time at Atalanta, with a reported fallout with former coach Ivan Juric, and his current situation might make him open to a new challenge .
Galatasaray’s interest in Lookman could see him reunited with his Nigerian teammate Victor Osimhen, who recently joined the club. The transfer would require significant investment, as Lookman’s contract with Atalanta runs until June 2027, and any deal would need to meet the Italian club’s asking price.
