It is an act of ingrate to the Almighty God (Allah) for any parent to show discrepancies on arrival of a new baby in the family to ask: What gender or sex? Which of these can the questioner produce or create?!The gender of a child is determined by the Mighty power, knowledge, wisdom and unquestionably decision of the final decision Maker. He knows why He gives what He gives and how He gives what one receives.

Culturally, in the olden days, many jubilated and became over joyously ecstasy on hearing the news of the new arrival of a baby boy, thinking that inheritor “Arole” has come, not knowing that the one who one who would ruin and destroy the family’s hard earned fame and respectable name has just arrived.

Ignorantly, some became sadly dejected on hearing the news of a new baby-girl in the family. A few fathers had even jumped over the fence and refused to return home, perhaps until their wives packed out of the house, some, after a few months or years. Why would she give birth to a girl child? Forgetting the fact that he was carried in a woman’s womb, possibly for nine months, or more, breast fed close to two years including weaning period, coupled with teething and sickly hospital periods.

Then, he grew up to marry a woman who grew up from girlhood to womanhood. Most human beings are known, or do I say are created, or born with the flowing blood of ungratefulness in their veins.

There have being cases when women were pregnant in normal ways but on their delivery days, gave birth to abnormal obnoxious creatures, such as a 🐌 (snail)as it happened in Ilorin township of Kwara state, in early 80s; in an area called ITADU, along Balogun Gambari-Okelele street, in a local private clinic.

Fir’aon was a male child, will his mother be proud of him on the Judgment Day?! Shaitan was said to be a male child, would anybody be confident to associate with him as a family member?! If we do not know these worse exemplary, many male armed robbers, political thugs, miscreants, hoodlums and area boys are male children.

What happiness have their family members recorded? Today, world female leaders such as: Khadijah bnt Khuwailid, A’ishah bnt Abubakar, Maryam, the mother of Prophet Isah (A.S), named Jesus Christ, Mariyatu Kibtiyyah, Rabiatu Adawiyyah and the likes of them are remembered till today for their quality leadership and the best exemples they stand for. What of Margret Thatcher?

The Queen of England? Nigeria’s Olufunmilayo Ransome Kuti, Mary Slessor, Efunsetan Aniwura, Khairat Abdul RAZAQ Gwadabe, Hon. Binta Bello, Zainab Ahmed, Dora Akunyili Queen Amina of Zaria, Khadijah Bukar Ibrahim, Aisha Alhassan, Oloye Jumoke etc.

The Glorious Qur’an states: And when one of them is informed of (the birth of) a female, his face becomes dark, and and he suppresses grief. He hides his face from the people because of the ill of which he has informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide (Q16:58-59).

In the same tone, the Bible reiterates: But amongst ourselves, we are inferential Ed by sex as a race, we are divided into two groups, halves or component parts- male and female (Galatians 3:28).

Be ready to accept what God gives you, be happy with and Gloria Him, for, he had not given you, no arrest of Him can be made because, He is an unquestionable God. Whatever gender God gives you, accept and appreciate.

Scientifically proven is the fact that both male and female produce chromosomes, chromosomes XX as donated by a female, while male produces XY. The determinant of gender, according to the Scientists is the male. Why blame your wife for what God has produced through you, as a man? God gives what He wishes! To Allah belongs the Dominion of the heavens and the earth: He creates what He will. He gives to whom He wills female (children), and He gives to whom He wills males; or, He makes them (both) males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent (Q 42:49-50).

Finally, the same training should be given to children without segregation, affiliation, special affection, or partial treatment, for, He God alone knows the best. A woman, throughout her life, has been appreciating God for having male in-laws who have been very caring, loving and passionate to her, while her male children neglected her and face their wives and their children. In apposition, a mother cried out for being abandoned by her female children, her married female children who face squarely, their own children and their husbands without caring about how she lives, what daughter who lives the life of: my husband and I? How will she feel in the morning nearest future if her own daughters do same to her?! What you do to others today is in a safe keep for your tomorrow’s nemesis.
