Governor Umo Eno is indeed a man of his words. On March 11, 2025, His Excellency provided equipment support to over 2,000 entrepreneurs in Akwa Ibom State, and during the event, a woman named Mrs. Ifeoma Itoro approached him for assistance towards her food processing.
The compassionate Governor directed the Commissioner of Trade and Investment, Dr. Ubong Inyang, to support her food processing business.
While the Honourable Commissioner swung into action. Tuesday, 25th March, Mrs. Itoro has received a fully refurbished factory and all the equipment she requested to give her a start-up factory. She also received N2 million naira as working capital.
However, the Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Rt Hon Emem Ibanga, was also present at the event and thanked the Governor for delivering on His promise within a short time.
The beneficiary was all joyous and prayed that God bless His Excellency for coming through for the less privileged.
Indeed, this is a testament to Governor Umo Eno’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and supporting the growth of businesses in Akwa Ibom State.
