Hephzibar Are Champions Of IKeja Divisional Football Super 4 League

Hephzibar Football Club of Agbado, has won the ticket to represent the  Ikeja Divisional Football Association in  Jakes Embassy Sponsored Super 4 play-off, at the Alade Sports Complex Command Meiran.

The Ewa boys overcame oppositions from Tuto Atlanta Football Academy on the opening day of the league, scoring  3 goals to nothing, while it also whitewashed Prolific Stars Football Club by 4 goals to nothing and on the final day beating Unification Football Club by 3 goals to 2 to confirm their superiority in the league.
Hephzibar has demonstrated the attributes of a worthy league champion from the start of the regular season playing 10 games winning 7 games, with 2  draws and losing one with 23 points and scoring 25 goals during the regular league season.
The team on the final days scoped all the available medals, from the best goalkeeper which was won by Raji Sadiq from Hephzibar FC, the best coach of the tournament went to Coach Olushola  Ogundare of Hephzibar and the highest goal scorer for the tournament went to its player Darlington Ndubuise scoring 6 goals from 3 games.
With these feat the team will now play in the State football league, while it is also preparing for NLO1 come 2026.
According to the General Manager of the team Abegunde Tolulope, who urged the players to keep giving their best as the team is preparing for the State League while reminding them the target of the team is to gain promotion.
Also speaking the coach of the team, Olushola Ogundare praise his players for making his job easier, while reminding them the goals and target of the team for the state league. He also used the medium to appreciated the continue support and vision of  the sponsor of the team Mr. Ismail Idowu Oluwabiyi promising him their set target for 2026 will be achieved with the determination and focus from the players he enthused.
Present at the final of the Play off is the Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association Alhaji Liameed Gafaar, Chairman Ikeja Divisional Football Association Alhaji Taiwo Alagbe, Mr. Alaba Olaniyan Secretary of Ikeja Divisional Football Association,  Joseph Apelete a member of the technical committee of Lagos FA and other dignitaries in the football division.
