Ife Oyedele makes this important call to condole the wife and family, and also, to assure the family of his intentions to provide good governance for the people of Ondo State.
The atmosphere was filled with emotions as Ife Oyedele recounts his engagements with the late icon. “He was the symbol of the Progressives when we were still in the opposition, and he did everything at his disposal to ensure the party gets to where it is”.
“A very loyal, steadfast, enduring and gallant political leader that did labour so hard on the political field, but so unfortunate, he didn’t get any reward nor benefit of any kind before he answered the eternal call.”
According to him, “my late friend meant well for the state and the people. I want to reassure you that I will provide good and encouraging governance if elected the the next governor of Ondo State. I can never forget this family.”
With uncontrolable tears, the widow, Yeye Otunba Akintelure, thanks the leading aspirant to have never forgotten the family of his late friend and also promising to continue on the path of development they have both been discussing for years.
“You are a reliable friend and political associate that shares the same ideologies with my late husband on the ‘Project Ondo’. I’m optimistic that even though he is no more, God will raise someone of like mind and agenda to be the next governor of Ondo State.”
