The organiser for the upcoming event of Indigenous Sports Week Abuja 2024 tagged Sports Meets Nollywood, has revealed the speakers who will be giving out their knowledge for the marriage of sports and Nollywood for the 3 day enriching experiences.
Leading the pack is a legendary film maker Remi Ogunpitan, Chair person of Nigeria Women league, Nkechi Obi, former Nigeria international football player turned Nollywood actor Emmanuel Babayaro, A media icon Olushola Rogers while one man whose passion to build a sport brand drives in to another level and CEO of Elegbete TV Edafe Matthew Eseoghene and Regina Dokpesi Executive Director with Daar Communication the owners of AIT are all lined up for the events.
According to the convener of the event Femi Abioye, everything is set and our guest are willing to share their experiences with us and it’s my desire to see the indigenous sport grow to another level and we will keep giving our best to see the positive development of sport in Nigeria he said.
There will also be Jagaban Belt Championship for the Indigenous Sports of Kakowa and Dambe where belt will be competed for in various categories.
The event is scheduled for 15th to 17th of February at Shehu Musa Yar Adua Centre in Abuja.
