The People Redemption Party Senatorial Candidate for Plateau North in the 2023 general elections, Hon. SuleimanYahaya-Kwande has promised to harness the youth and economic potential in communities across the Plateau North Senatorial district, when elected.
Hon. Kwande disclosed this on Friday while addressing a youth and stakeholders’ consultative session with various youths organizations, community leaders/stakeholders from Jos and Bassa in Sharna Hall.
The PRP Senatorial Candidate while responding to the request from the participants, said he will use legislation to explore economic potentials in Plateau North to create wealth, reduce unemployment and boost the state economy.
He promise to equally use legislation to amplify the voices of the youths and women particularly their challenges.
In his words: “I am a good listener and not a talkative. I listen to feel the heart of the people. This engagement will continue even after my victory in the 2023 general elections by God’s grace, he said.
“I will facilitate developmental projects in our Senatorial district and lobby other colleagues in the Senate to spread for more developmental projects to my people”.
“I have done it before in my 7 years in the National Assembly, and my projects are evidently seen almost every across the constituency that I represented”.
Some of the organizations include Anguwan Rogo/Rimi youth forum, Berom youths organization, Anaguta youth frontiers, Nasarawa youth Forum, Rikkos youth forum, Abba Nashehu development association, Ibrahim Katsina forum, Pious global women initiative, Gangare youth forum, Garba Daho, Illustrious sons of Afizere among others.
