Lagos To Host NFF AGA Thursday.

With the date set for the NFF Annual General Assembly to hold in Lagos on Thursday, Best Western Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, will be the venue to host the  NFF Annual General Assembly,  according to information available to Gongnews.net

The AGA, which will also serve as a pre-Elective Congress, is fixed for Thursday, August 18, 2022. According to a video message by Lagos State Football Association chairman Bar. Seyi Akinwunmi welcoming delegates to the state for the AGA, which gave authenticity to the fact the the congress will hold on Thursday.

This new date and venue effectively cancel the previous notice of August 16 in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

However, it is still left to be seen whether this General Assembly may not be aborted as NFF President Amaju Pinnick has insisted on getting another legal opinion from the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice if the football federation risk a contempt of court as regards the injunction given by a Federal High Court in Bayelsa in December.
