The immediate past Secretary General of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation(NWF) Alhaji Mohammed Haruna Maigidansanma has congratulated the Comptroller General of Customs Mr Adewale Bashir Adeniyi, MFR on the extension of his tenure in office by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Maigidansanma described Mr Adeniyi as a leader of quality whose administrative ingenuity has placed him above his peers.
“I worked with the Comptroller General while with the Nigeria Wrestling Federation and his composure, maturity, professionalism and attention to details were evident to all. It has therefore not come to many of us as a surprise that Mr President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu has decided to keep him on his job for an extra year.
“His commitment and contributions to sports development have also not gone unnoticed and we are privileged and honoured to have him close to us in sports, ” Maigidansanma said.
Since his appointment as Comptroller General of Customs, Adeniyi has embarked on a lot of initiatives that have been beneficial for Nigerian sports especially in the areas of improved welfare for sports men and women and the provision of sports facilities.
