Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, has expressed his excitement following his Man of the Match award in their game against Chelsea on Sunday.
The newly promoted club Sunday at the City Ground held Chelsea to a 1-1 draw with the Nigeria International leading the line for Forest.
Awoniyi proved too difficult to handle for Chelsea defenders and forced them to commit numerous blunders.
He was awarded man of the match and he expressed his happiness through his social media handle.
” Thankful to have gotten my first ever Premier League MOTM award but also disappointed, a spirited performance from the team didn’t end with three points. We keep pushing”, Awoniyi revealed.
