The Mascot Displayers Association of Nigeria ( MDAN) has thrown its weight behind the leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC) led by Chairman Shehu Dikko and Director-General Bukola Olapade. The association commended their commitment to transforming Nigerian sports.
The show of support comes as the Coalition to Save Nigeria Sports announced a protest scheduled for December 18, 2025. The coalition cited concerns over the management of funds within the NSC as the reason for the protest

Olapade cited progress in badminton as an example of the commission’s commitment to advancing sports development in Nigeria.
