Mascot Displayers Call Tinubu For Financial Support

By Oluwole Francis

The Mascot Displayers Association of Nigeria has begged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to extend financial help to its members.

The association under the leadership of Fapetu Gbenga Isaac said its members have been support to the national teams especially the Super Eagles whenever they are on international engagement.

The Mascots are still in Abidjan four days after the final of the AFCON played on Sunday between the host, Ivory Coast and Nigeria.

“We have mobilized and transported our members to Cote d’Ivoire from Nigeria.

“We have also been transporting our members to match venues for each of the games.

“Things are very expensive here, our members have been spending their hard-earned money on food and logistics here.

“We therefore appeal to President Tinubu to extend financial gestures to our members as we keep supporting Super Eagles of Nigeria to victory at the AFCON 2023,” the Mascot leader said.
