Massive Loot At Mc’Carthy Stadium As Buyers Of Lobi Stars Buses Uncovered

By James Shamange

The cry over the rascality of the Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Lobi Stars Dominic continues to rage as news of massive loot of Lobi Stars’ Mc Carthy Stadium camp filtered in this morning.

The massive loot is occasioned by the unofficial news making the rounds about Iorfa’s imminent sack, all valuables that are in the camp have been vandalized by Iorfa. A source close to the VC/CEO hinted on grounds of anonymity that, Iorfa is claiming been owed money by the state government on the renovation work done at the players camp.

In another development, the two club buses that were reported illegally sold by Dominic Iorfa in connivance with the club Secretary Terhemen Saawuan has been confirmed.

The 32 seater coaster bus that appeared in the attached photos is traced to have been sold to a popular transport company, owned by a front of the former Governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom is presently undergoing repairs at a workshop in Adikpo.

The Hummer 14 seater crew bus is traced to have been sold to a major transport company with headquarters in Gboko, the 14 seater bus has since been repaired and have been put in to business use.

It will be recalled that, Dominic Iorfa had told the former Governor that, the renovation of Mc’Carthy Stadium was done using the savings from the monthly allocation, the Governor showered accolades on him for going the extra mile and was celebrated by all, so how come about the claim that the government is owing him? If really Iorfa borrowed, who authorized him to go and borrow? If he was authorized, is the person competent to give such authority?

On the sale of vehicles, who approved the sales? If the sale was approved, did it follow the procedure of sale of government properties? Enough of Iorfa’s rascality and wanton display of criminality.

I hereby call on Governor Hyacinth Alia to without further delay sack Dominic Iorfa and cause the Asset Recovery Committee to close up on him before more colossal damages will be incurred by the club.
