Villarreal Star Samuel Chukwueze, has stated that the arrival of his team new coach Quique Setien in January

 changed his just concluded season with the team.

Speaking in an interview with Olayinka Elebute of Gongnews.net,

the Diamond Academy football club of Umuahia player said ” I was struggling with injury and my confidence was almost gone before the arrival of our new coach and he gave me a new role to play in the team and I just grabbed the opportunity and the rest they say it’s history”

“It was like I was not existing in the club because It was difficult for me after my injury just coming back gradually, and when our new coach came in and he just gave me an opportunity and a new role then I grab it that’s how I came back because I have gained the confidence back and I now have time to play for the team, Chukwueze stated.

Samuel Chukwueze scored 13 goals for Villarreal in the just concluded season with a brace against Real Madrid.
