The Orseer Ikyaator Foundation was officially unveiled at the Gboko City Chiefs basketball awards night on Saturday in Abuja marking a significant milestone in the Foundation’s mission to promote sports development and empower young people in Nigeria.
According Ikyaator,
the aim is to provide opportunities for young people to develop their skills, build their confidence and become positive role models in their communities.
Speaking at the awards night, Ikyaator emphasized the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders and athletes.
“We believe that sports have the power to transform lives and communities. Through the Orseer Ikyaator Foundation, we want to provide young people with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
“Through its programs and initiatives, the Foundation is providing opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills, gain exposure and access education and career opportunities,” he said.
The Foundation’s unveiling was attended by dignitaries, sports personalities, and stakeholders in the sports industry.
The awards and gala night was to celebrate Gboko City Chiefs Basketball Team, who emerged third best team at the recently concluded Nigeria Premier Basketball League.
The third-place finish at the recently concluded Nigeria Premier Basketball Super 8 is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and teamwork.
