Nigeria will miss the ever presence of Deborah Abiodun against Australia, these were the words of coach David Olawuyi of Star Peak Akwanga speaking with Gongnews.net
I am not disappointed with Deborah performance against the Olympics Champion Canada, Deborah is a player that I know playing for my academy at a tender age in Akwanga I know she will be the future of Nigeria football the coach enthused.
It just sad that she will not be available for our second game and I hope the coach can get a replacement for her for the game against Australia but she gave her best and nobody ever expected she get a red card in the later part of the game.

I just hope she will put the red card issues behind her and by pick up herself for the last group game and I know she will be great against Ireland and with what I saw Nigeria team will do well at the World Cup coach Olawuyi concluded.

Deborah Abiodun, had a 2 years sting with Star Peak Academy as a 13 year old before joining Nasarawa Amazon, she went on loan to Rivers Angels of Port-Harcourt and she is currently in Pittsburgh University in the USA as a Student, playing in the female division 1 in US league.
