The Chairman of Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), Engineer Musa Nimrod has in his magnanimity, paid the tuition fees of 27 volleyball players in the state.
A statement signed by the media representative on the KADSVA Board, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson said that this was revealed on Tuesday January 23, 2024.
It informed that according to the Secretary of KADSVA, Adamu Mohammed, a total sum of N740,000 was released by Engineer Nimrod to that effect.
According to him, three of the students in tertiary institutions, received N80,000 each.
While, WAEC fees of N30,000 each was given to 13 of the students, and JAMB registrations fees of N10,000 each was given to 11 students.
Engineer Nimrod, who is also the President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), has been a pillar of grassroots sports development, not only in Kaduna State, but the entire nation.
