NLO AGM: Bocknor Commends NFF,NLO Dedication To Football Development

‎Chairman of Likeminds Football Club Abuja and Board Member of the FCT Football Association, Babatunde Bucknor has commended the Nationwide League One (NLO) for its outstanding performance under the leadership of Honorable Silas Agara.

‎Speaking in an Exclusive interview with gongnews at the NLO Annual General Assembly 2025 in Abuja, Bucknor praised Agara’s leadership and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, for their support.

Bucknor attributed the NLO’s success to the collective effort of all stakeholders, saying, “The NLO is achieving this height because all hands are on deck. It’s not by fluke, it’s not by mistake.” He praised Agara for creating a conducive environment for board members to work and appreciated Gusau’s trust in the NLO board.

Bucknor expressed his gratitude to Agara and Gusau, stating, “My appreciation goes to the chairman of the Board, Honorable Silas Agara, and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, for their trust in the NLO board

” He commended Agara’s willingness to work and ensure that board members have a free environment to operate.

‎When asked about the Super Eagles’ 28-list  for the AFCON, Bucknor praised the technical crew’s decisions, saying, “I think Nigeria is now ready for business with the inclusion of new and young players in the squad.” He emphasized the importance of African energy in the tournament, citing the World Cup playoff match against Congo as evidence of the team’s potential.
