….. Congratulates Super Six Clubs

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Club Secretaries’ Forum commends Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the Interim Management Committee (IMC) for joining global football calendar, having defiled every resistance to stick to their timing.

According to a media release signed by the chairman of  the association, Chibuzo Nwogu, Though  it was not easy but the Ibrahim Gusau and Gbenga Elegbeleye led NFF and IMC demonstrated uncommon commitment and will power, coupled with the end cooperation of the clubs to make the 2023 abridged league a success.

The Club Secretaries also congratulates the clubs that finally made it to the super six billed to take place in Lagos on the 3rd to 11th June, 2023, and also sympathize with the four clubs that suffered the drop to NNL with the hope that they will come back better and stronger to the NPFL.

Consequently, we urge the supreme national football body (NFF) and the league management (IMC) to keep the burning desire of rebranding the league to produce a quality super six as we finally sync with the global football calendar for value addition to the developer of our football which the body believes is achievable under the leadership of Ibrahim Gusau and Hon. Elegbeleye.
