NPFL Super 6: Triple Harvest Of Draws On Match Day 3

NPFL matchday 3 provided an amazing figures as team share the points evenly, teams were expected to cart away points  to the continent on the third day of actions but it was not what happened as it all ended in three draws in all for match day 3.

People Elephant were not at their best as they were  held to a 1-1 draw by Insurance of Benin who have remained unbeaten since the the beginning of the league.

The draw party continue with South-West rivals, Sunshine Stars of Akure and Remo Stars of Ikenne and both team ended up with the same scoreline  earlier played by Enyimba of Aba and Insurance of Benin one all it ended.

Like the earlier games, most  people had expected one game that will settle the question of who will be continental bound with the defending champion Rivers United playing Lobi who are yet to win a game since the beginning of the Super Six.

Its becoming more frustrating for both teams as they misses array of chances to make the difference but in all  Rivers United are likely  to be one of the leading team for the continent having gathered 5 points to Join Enyimba of Aba who has 5 points, Remo Stars and Lobi are equally matched sharing the same numbers of points 3, while Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars are with 2 points from 3 games from 5 games.

Thursday is another match day rest as action will resume on Friday and it’s going to be loaded with entertainment according to the organiser, one hope the excitement for who picks the much awaited spots for the continent will be revealed on match day 4.
