NPFL U-17 Team Eyes Spain Tour, Focuses on Building A Formidable Squad

 

Coach Ken Chukwu, handler of the NPFL U-17 Youth League All-star team, emphasized that the primary objective is to build a strong team to represent the NPFL in their upcoming tour of Spain.

Speaking after their 2-0 win over HB Football Academy, Chukwu noted that while winning is important, the focus remains on developing a cohesive unit.

The team, comprising 21 players currently in camp, is expected to receive additional talent scouted from the Youth League. Chukwu stressed that only the best players will be selected for the Spain tour, ensuring the NPFL and Nigeria are represented by a top-notch team.

Goals from Oscar Ozonwafor and Nwosu Chinedu secured the win, demonstrating the team’s progress since commencing training eight days ago. With a focus on continuous improvement, the NPFL U-17 team is shaping up for a successful tour.
