Despite his team failure to retain their status in the Premier league on the final day of the season, Coach Abdulahi Biffo Of Sporting Lagos as described his team as the perfect team to work with while answering questions from journalists shortly after his team failure to retain their Premier League status.
According to him, the league will miss the quality structure of Sporting Lagos he said.
“The only thing that I know is that NPFL is going to miss the quality of Sporting Lagos because of their structure as a professional team its one of its kind, it is the kind of structure we need to build our league on and I don’t want to talk about what happened behind the scenes what I know very well is that the team has a great structure they know what they are doing and it is their 1st time in the Premier league it will be a big lesson for all of us at the club he enthused.
Speaking further, coach Biffo is of the opinion that if the team is able to come together and get it right in the future. 
“If there is another time to come together and see how to amend all the errors and all the departments can get it right so that the team can be able withstand the pressure of the Nigeria league, it is a good experience for the team and I know that we have learnt our lesson and the team will be better in the future. Coach Biffo stated.
