NVBF President Musa Nimrod Commends Stakeholders After Successful Div 1 & 2 League Phase 1

President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has hailed stakeholders following the successful conclusion of the National Division 1 and 2 League Phase 1, held in Abuja.

Reflecting on the progress of volleyball in Nigeria, Nimrod highlighted the collective spirit that continues to drive the sport forward.

NVBF boss extended gratitude to the Chief of Defense Staff for collaborating with the federation in co-sponsoring the competition.

He said, “We are on the verge of making history together. In this journey, we are together, rising, learning, and growing together.

“It may not be smooth nor sweet, but the vision for volleyball excellence in all ramifications will always keep us moving towards attaining our goal and objective, which is Volleyball Excellence.”

Nimrod also applauded government agencies, organizations, state governments, security services, and private clubs who ensured participation by sending teams to Abuja.

“The various State Governments, Security Services, and Private Clubs that pull resources and send teams down to Abuja for the league are all well appreciated. This shows that we have people and institutions that believe in us,” he noted.

Looking ahead, the NVBF boss assured that lessons from Phase 1 would be used to improve the final phase of the league.

“As we look forward to the Final Phase, we pray that the Almighty God provides us with the ability and resources to entertain and accommodate all the teams in a better and more conducive atmosphere. The lapses and shortcomings will be looked into for a better league experience by God’s grace,” he stated.

Offering prayers for all participants, Nimrod added: “Our prayers are with you as you depart to your various destinations. We pray and hope for peace and divine safety to all. God bless you all.
