The Nigeria Volleyball Federation, led by President Engineer Musa Nimrod, has taken a significant step towards environmental sustainability by donating tree saplings to 35 male and female teams participating in the Chief of Defence Staff National Volleyball League Division 1 and to promote environmental awareness and reduce carbon footprint.
NVBF donated tree saplings to teams during the league’s phase one, held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
This initiative aligns with global efforts to integrate environmental sustainability into sports development, following the lead of international sports bodies like FIFA, IOC, CAVB, and FIVB.
