Ogunbiyi bags fellowship of NSE

 

The Permanent Secretary, Career Management Office (CMO), office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), Engr. Marcus Ogunbiyi, has been conferred with the Award of Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).

Director Communications, office of the HOCSF in a statement issued on Friday, said Ogunbiyi was awarded, following his several accomplishments and wealth of experience, as well as outstanding contributions to the field of Engineering and administration in Nigeria.

Dr Ogunbiyi, an Agricultural Engineer, was one of the 118 Conferees at the 2023 Quarterly Dinner/Conferment of Fellowship held on July 26, 2023, in Abuja.

“The Permanent Secretary had, in recent times, authored a number of scientific research papers published in various local and international journals on rice and horticultural crops production and processing.

“Hitherto, he was a Corporate Member of the NSE, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Agricultural Enngineers (NIAE), and a registered member of Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). ”

According to Ahmed, Ogunbiyi, who was joined by his family to receive the Fellowship Award, expressed gratitude for the recognition given to him by the NSE, while pledging to do more in the field of Engineering.

Amongst the Conferees’ of the Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) are notable Industrialists and Public Servants such as the former Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor, Engr. E. C. Udeh.

Others are: Engr. Abdul Kareem Suleiman Hassan and Engr. Olusegun Oladayo Kuteyi and many others.
