OTUBAJO JOINS FC NASAF

Nigerian striker Yusuf Otubanjo Olaitan has joined Uzbekistan Super League leaders FC Nassaf after six seasons in Armenia with FC Pyunik, where he became their top foreign goal scorer. He broke Marcos Pizzeli’s record with 36 league goals. In total, Otubanjo recorded 88 goals and 23 assists in 187 appearances. This move marks a new challenge for the 31-year-old, as he looks to continue his scoring form in Uzbekistan.

FC Nassaf is a professional football club based in Qarshi, Uzbekistan. Founded in 1997, the club has become one of the top teams in the Uzbekistan Super League. Some notable achievements include:
– Uzbekistan Super League runners-up: 2011, 2017
– Uzbekistan Cup winners: 2015
– AFC Cup winners: 2011

The club has participated in several Asian competitions, including the AFC Champions League. Otubanjo, a former Nigeria U-17 attacker, stands at 177 cm tall and weighs 70 kg. He’s delighted to join FC Nassaf for this new challenge.
