Nigeria’s Favour Ofili a few minutes ago, won the women’s 200m heat at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics.

Ofili running from lane two returned in a time of 22:24s to land in the semifinals ahead of Team Great Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith who posted 22:28s while Gina Bittaye of the Gambia finished third in a time of 22:84s.

Ofili could not feature in the women’s 100m due to registration error.
