Former Edo state Football Association (Edo FA) chairman, Frank Ilaboya, has described Super Eagles gaffer, Jose Peseiro as a terrible coach.
Ilaboya said any coach that is not ready to develop Nigerian football should go. He said the Portuguese has not shown the passion to develop local players in the league let alone giving them the chance to be part of the national team set up.
“Nigeria league is very good but we need a coach who will encourage the local players and develop them. Can you image an African cup of Nation (AFCON) you taking one goalkeeper that is not relevant how do you expect the players to feel? Peseiro should be allowed to go.
“Super Eagles is no longer for experiment. We need a coach that will believe in our players. Our league has to be developed as well,” Ilaboya said.
