Stakeholders in Benue has revealed the real reason why Coach Abubakar Bala was shown the exist door from Lobi Stars.
According to Terka Akaa, we the stakeholders in the State had warned him that embattled Vice-chairman of Lobi Dominic Iorfa can not appoint a coach without the approval of the board. But he did not listen to us then and now that we have been prove right and I think the people of the state will take us serious when we talk about what is happening in Lobi Stars under Dominic Iorfa, he said.
While clarifying the report in the media, he left after he had a misunderstanding with the Vice Chairman of the club Dominic Iorfa, the basis of the misunderstanding is yet unknown the report said. But the truth of the matter is that his appointment was not approved by the board and one man can not run our club.
He further told the people of Benue to disregard the purported letter of Invitation from CAF to Dominic Iorfa to join the African Club Association, saying we are only interested in the growth of Lobi Stars and all we want from Dominic Iorfa is to tell us how he spent the 120 million naira that was allocated to him for the welfare and salaries of staffs of Lobi Stars.
“The letter is just an avenue to scam the Benue state government, all that we are interested in is for him to come and give account of how he spent 120 million naira released for the players and staffs welfare”, he concluded.
