The winner of the tournament, Shooting Stars, and runner-up, Beyond Limits have been paid their prize monies in millions of Naira.

“We want to appreciate our Premium Sponsor, ValueJet Airline, and our Associate Sponsor, Optimus Bank, without their sponsorship we won’t be able to organize the tournament.

“We are grateful for their support towards the growth of Nigerian football. We are excited about what we did this year, we made tremendous improvement from the first edition and we have challenged ourselves to improve every year.

“We appreciate the eight clubs for accepting our invitation, they all added glamour to the tournament. Their professionalism is top-notch and their passion for their respective clubs is unprecedented. We wish all the clubs success in the NPFL and CAF games, we hope to see all of them at the top.

“The tournament will have a positive effect on their season, and we are optimistic. The Academy Boys as our wildcard became the most popular club in the tournament, and the feedback was positive. We will be looking forward to the boys doing great things in the future.

“This is a special appreciation to our Media Team, football is a media event and we are honoured to work with the personalities in our media team, they did an amazing job.

“We are grateful to the media organization in Nigeria for their support, the support we got from various media organizations is overwhelming. Thank you football fans, we read all your engagement online and see you all at the stadium. The third edition will be bigger and better,” said Azeez.
