Former Nigeria U-23 and Sporting Lagos ace defender Egbuchilem David is happy to team up with the new NNL side at the on going Super 8 tournament at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
Speaking after an impressive game against League winners Enyimba of Aba the former national U-23 team invitee is hopeful the team will be better in their next game against against Katsina United on Thursday.
“Playing against Enyimba of Aba is a big test for us and we were able to hold our own against the league champions and we really need to make our chances count in our next game on Thursday the technically sound defender” said.
The former A& B who can also play as a defensive midfielder is happy with the team fighting spirit and I Know we will play in the final of the Super 8 he concluded.
Egbuchilem David who has played from his Academy A&B before moving to Heartland Football Club of Owerri, he also feature for Sunshine Stars of Akure and had a short stay with Shooting Stars Sport Club of Ibadan, and later Nasarawa United before moving to Sporting Lagos and he has been one of the outstanding players for the High Tech player in the on going Super 8 in Lagos.
