President of Nigeria Football Federation Mallam Ibrahim Gusau, has assured the Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State that Nigeria Super Eagles and other National Teams will play in Jos as long as the Governor fulfill his promises of completing Zaria Road Stadium in his time.
Speaking over the weekend during the inspection of Rwang Pam Stadium renovation and redevelopment of the stadium in Jos.
According to NFF President, “if we have a good facility here there is no way we are not going to bring the Super Eagles to play on the Plateau that is a promise as long as the Governor fulfill his own promises, we have an obligation to fulfill our own promises by the grace of God we will continue to encourage him because the next stage is to complete the Zaria Road Stadium where even the Super Eagles can come and play that which he promised me he will do” the NFF President said.
Speaking further, when the facility is completed we are going to see CAF games and National Teams will play here as well, we can bring back life into soccer on the plateau the president enthused.
