The President of Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF), Dayo Akindoju, says Nigeria Athletes are ready to participating in Billie Jean cup in Nairobi, Kenya later this month.
He stated this while speaking with journalists at the closing ceremony of Fourth edition of Davnotch National Open Championship.
“We have Oyinlomo Quadri, Divine Muyike, Toyin Osogba she is new to the team and the other players is Adesuwa abuwa they were not able to camp them here because they are playing on clay courts, they are in different locations now all over the worlds and somebody’s in Spain,some in US but three to four days to the events they will all gathered in Kenya.
“They are playing tournament all over the world and this is been monitored by their coach Rotimi Akiloyeso hopefully that’s a kind of build up by the way.
“Before the event They will be there two to three days for warm up and we are very hopeful that they will do well and get promoted to the next level.
