The president of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Musa Nimrod, on Saturday said the federation organise the league inspite of no sponsor.
Nimrod disclose this to newsmen in Abuja at end of the first phase of the Nigeria Volleyball National division 1 and 2 league.
According to him, the federation is committed to the development of the sports in the country.
” We are getting better every year, and I am really satisfied with the league management committee, who organized the event.
“ I am also really happy with the caliber of play. The members of the federation are working hard inspite not having any sponsors.
He said this year league recoded an increase having 17 teams competing in the division I and 2 for the first time.

He also appreciate the federations members ,they are doing there best In irrespective of the challenges but we are making it and I am proud of them, I am proud of the clubs , coaches, Refrees all of them. They are doing good.
reports that in the last match of the male division 2 league Kwara United lost 0-3 Safety Spikers (22-25, 23-25, 21-25)
the league which started on May 23 ended on ( today)June 1 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja.
