Ondo State Acting Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa has assured the good people of the State, investors and development partners that, the State is on the path of possibilities.
At the closing ceremony of the State-Organized 3-Day economic summit, Aiyedatiwa congratulates Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON and the State dynamic team for sustaining “Develop Ondo” and elevating it to one of the leading business promotion summit in Nigeria, while reassuring the people of renewed security, infrastructure, industrialization and innovation.
The Acting Governor made these assurances in his closing remarks at the end of the 3-Day Ondo Economic Summit tagged, “Develop Ondo 2.0 Investment Summit” held at International Culture and Event Center, The Dome, Alagbaka Akure on Wednesday.
The 3-Day watershed event brought the best of minds who came and partner with Ondo State for a sustainable development of the sunshine state.
Aiyedatiwa who was present throughout the three-day programme demonstrated that Ondo State is ready and open for business as the highly successful event showcase the business credentials and opportunities in the State.
In his closing remarks, the Acting Governor said, “over the past three days, we have witnessed engaging discussions, fruitful collaborations and a profound exchange of ideas, all center around the theme of “Developing Possibilities”.
“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all attendees, speakers, panelists and Partners who have made this event a resounding success” , he said.
Aiyedatiwa said the valuable contributions at the summit has set the stage for meaningful partnerships between the government and private investors, fostering an environment that would drive economic growth and development across all sectors in the State.
His words, “the insights gained, the connections made and the strategies discussed will serve as the cornerstone of our collective efforts to steer our State towards greater prosperity and progress”.
He further assured that, “the comments made and the initiative proposed during this summit will not remain mere words on paper; they will become action plans that drive tangible results” .
“The State Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit, PPIMU, will continue to play a crucial role in monitoring the execution of these plans and ensuring that we remain steadfast in delivering on our promises” , he assured.
Aiyedatiwa was very thankful to participants and Development Partners for their valuable contributions to the success of the summit.
In his thank you message, Ondo State Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele hailed Mr Governor for giving maximum support to the summit and for also support the private sector to flourish in the State.
Earlier, Ondo State Commissioner for Energy, Mines and Mineral Resources and Chairman, Develop Ondo 2.0 Local Organizing Committee, Engr Rasaq Obe applauded all the event supporters, members of L.O.C and participants, assuring all that the State will continue to bolster to meet the collective needs of the people.
Highlights of the closing ceremony was presentation of Government License by the Acting Governor to the management of Alagbaka Power Ltd that is currently building a 4.5 Megawatt Power Plant in Alagbaka that will supply power to Alagbaka area of the State capital.
Others at the closing ceremony are, Ondo State Chief Judge represented by, Hon Justice A.O Adebusoye, Chief of Staff to Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, members of the State Executive Council, Local Government Chairmen, former member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Gbenga Omole, Development Partners, Chairmen/Members of Board and Parastatals, Permanent Secretaries, Participants, Visitors and others.
