As the Nigeria National League resumes on Saturday 8th of November, the chairman of Basira Alhaji Salisu Galadima, has revealed to Gongnews.net that his team is ready to play in the NNL.
Speaking during a chat with the chairman while disclosing that his team is ever ready to play and are only waiting for the commencement of the League in Lafia tomorrow.
“For me we are done with recruitments, the players are there and everything we need to have a successful season is already in place” the chairman declared
According to him, “the team is ready, we have been playing friendly games, we also played Ahlan Gusau Preseason Tournament In Bauchi so as far as my team is concerned we are just waiting for the season to start in November” the chairman said.
FC Basira recently unveiled their players for the season and the chairman of the team is confident is team is ready for the new season.
The team who emerged winners at the just concluded Ahlan Gusau NNL Preseason Tournament In Bauchi beating Yobe Desert Stars by 2 goals to 1.
FC Basira will open the new season with a Middle belt derby with Mighty Jet of Jos to set the tune for the new season at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday.
