The Commissioner for sports development in Cross River State, Hon. Mrs. Agnes Atsu has refers to the Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi as a young man the Cross River State sports ministry is proud of due to his tendencies of Goodwill that are similar with that of the Governor of Cross River State Senator Prince Bassey Otu.
Honourable Commissioner made the statement while receiving the cash sum of One Million naira and fifty footballs from Terem Moffi who donated them to the pelican stars and rovers Fc of calabar as his little way of contributing to the development of football in the state. She said Prince Otu since assumption of office as Governor has not failed in unleashing goodwill to Cross Riverians who made him Governor and same tendencies are what Terem is exhibiting.
Also, the special adviser on sports development to the Governor, Hon. Ekanem Ekpenyong extolled Terem’s performance in the world of soccer and thanked him for adding value to the development of young players through his gifts of football and cash to them which will enable them do their trainings effectively and also cater for their pressing needs that will enhance their performance.
The permanent secretary of the ministry, Mr. Samuel Egbala also appreciated Terem Moffi for his gifts to the young players and praise for God’s blessings upon him.
