2022 African Youth Beach Volleyball Begins In Lagos

 

Nigeria will face Ivory Coast in the boy’s category on Saturday in a bid to qualify for the 2022 African Youth Games Beach Volleyball Championship.

The Zone III African Youth Games Beach Volleyball Qualification is scheduled for 4th to 6th June, 2022 at Mobee Palace in Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria.

The draw held on Saturday morning was steered by Zone III Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) technical supervisor, Issiaka Issifou from Niger, while the President of Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) Zone III, Ali Yaro and Technical Representative of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Martin Melandi participated.

Four boys and two girls teams will dig it in the court for the next two days as spectators should expect eight classic matches.

In other matches on Saturday, Benin Republic will trade tackles with Niger Republic while Benin Republic faces Nigeria in the only girls match.

Nigeria, who are hoping to make a statement at this year’s Beach Volleyball event, will have their hands full when they take on Benin Republic and Niger Republic on Sunday.

Boys: Ivory Coast v Nigeria (2pm)
Boys: Benin Republic v Niger Republic

Girls: Benin Republic v Nigeria

Day 2 (Sunday)

Boys: Niger Republic v Ivory Coast (9am)
Boys: Nigeria v Benin Republic

Evening 🌆-

Girls: Nigeria v Benin Republic (2pm)
Boys: Benin Republic v Ivory Coast
Boys: Nigeria v Niger Republic
